I graduated from Hereford High School in 2000. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2004 with my Bachelor’s Degree and again in May 2018 with my Master’s Degee in School Counseling.
I am certified to teach 4-8 Science, Early Childhood-6, and ESL. I have my GT (gifted and talented) certification. And I am also certified in School Counseling.
This is my 15th year to teach. This is my fourth year to teach at Friona Elementary. I am the Dyslexia teacher for our school.
Before coming to Friona, I taught 1st grade at Nazarene Christian Academy for one year. I also taught Math and Reading online for Kindergarten-12th grade, while staying home with our 2 boys for 6 years. Before staying home and teaching online, I taught 7th grade Science for 4 years at Austin Middle School in Amarillo, Texas.
I married Daniel Rosales in 2005. Daniel teaches U.S. History at Friona High School. He is also the Offensive Coordinator for the Chieftains as well as the Head Baseball coach. We have 3 active boys. Aaron is 11 years old and is in 5th grade, Eli is 7 years old and is in 2ndgrade and our baby Javi was born last October. We have 1 dog, Chente, who is a Chiweenie.
On my spare time, I like to attend football and baseball games. I also enjoy shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family.
