I began teaching in Friona in 2014 and I am Certified in grades 4-8 Social Studies with a supplemental Certification in English as a Second Language.
I have taught 8th grade American History for 3 years.
I have taught 7th grade Texas History for 4 years.
I have taught 4th grade Texas History for 4 years and continue to teach in that capacity.
I previously was employed by Hereford ISD where I taught 3 years of 8th grade U.S. History and 4 years of 7th Grade Texas History.
Before becoming a teacher I was a minister and was involved with music and youth for 5 years and served in 2 churches as pastor for an additional 18 years.
My wife and I have been married for 30 years and we have one daughter, Jennifer. We have 2 dogs that are half chijuajua and half border collie. We currently live in Hereford and I commute each day to Friona.
Our family has always enjoyed travel and camping so we are often staying or volunteering at Palo Duro Canyon or going new places in our travel trailer.
